On this biking tour we will see the most important ruins on the highlands between Cusco and the Chincheros Town, with a constant view of snowcapped mountains on the other side of the valley. We travel over gentle green hills and pass through picturesque small towns. For all mountain biking lovers, Peru has one of the largest networks of Inca remains and following the innumerable trails that connect with the most amazing sites having the chance to get know local Andean communities and learn their amazing life style. Mountain Biking is a relatively new sport in Peru, but new routes are rapidly being opened up, many of which offer excellent opportunities to ride
We will pass to pick up you from your hotel at 07:00 am with our tourist transportation, traveling around 45 minutes to Cruzpata sector, starting point here we descend on bikes for about 2 hours to Moray Arqueological park crossing Maras town doing some stops for to take pictures and some explanation with our guide finally, the salt mines of Salineras natural ones of this park where we will see how the Andean people work.
Finishing the trip in Urubamba, we will have lunch and return to Cusco at about 5:00 PM.
ADVICE FOR BIKERS
Normal physical conditions and summer clothes, bikers require minimum of acclimatization over 3000m. One day before all the bikers will have meeting with the mountain bike guide at our office or in the hotel, who will give a BRIEFING about this bike trip and also you can check the quality of bikes and gear will be used on this trip.
VERY IMPORTANT NOTE:
Is not allowed to visit the archaeological places while passengers are riding on the Bikes.
